Knife Skills Training

Using CPPW grant money, all six districts were able to offer knife skills and seasoning training in 2012.  Chef Monique Hooker, from Viroqua, met with kitchen staff at a school kitchen in each district for 2 – 6 hours.  Each district made harvest muffins and salad and some districts created a vegetable topping for pizza (ratatouille).  Each session was concluded with a sit down taste test for the staff.
